Caching, visuals, animations. The pre-rotation animation is gone (thank heavens). My guess is something went into that whole (pre)process meant to make transitions smoother, but wasn’t getting the job done. mSafari is snappier. Seems to be legit. Some (not all) of the latency is alleviated. Gets better as it gets used so it’s possible a caching or memory issue with the initial consumer release of iOS 8 could have been the culprit.
