AppStore helps disaster victims
Apple has started taking Red Cross donations to help victims in Japan and Ecuador. If you go to the iTunes or iOS Appstore, you will find the icons to donate toward the bottom:

Good stuff. If everyone contributes a little I’m sure it will go a long way to those who need basic life sustaining essentials. Japan has it rough.
The 6.5-magnitude earthquake on April 14 and even more powerful 7.3-magnitude tremor 28 hours later were two of the strongest quakes to ever to strike Japan. At least 48 people were killed and nearly 1,200 were injured.
The U.S. military has delivered more than 30 tons of supplies to help the people of Japan following two powerful, deadly earthquakes. Since April 18, the U.S. military has supported the government of Japan’s relief efforts with supplies that include food, water, and sanitation and shelter kits.
