Why do they do this?
Is the Huawei P9 camera good? Who knows. But it’s not EOS 5D MK3 good.
It was soon found, however, that the photos had not been snapped with the P9’s camera, but rather a more expensive digital camera. Android Police discovered that the EXIF data on the image showed it was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, which lists at $2,599 for the body unit (lenses will cost you even more).

Now, usually social media will strip EXIF data from photos. However, I have pulled images from Facebook with partial EXIF data intact. Although the user who produced the photo might lie…EXIF doesn’t, unless it has been manipulated.
