You can tell that the Taptic Engine is utilized quite a bit. In ways that make you wonder if Apple really had to think of ways to propagate and ‘augment’ 3DTouch.
It’s not about just gesturing and controls….it’s about feedback and notifications under certain limits or conditions.
You start to become cognizant about what is vibration and what is haptic or ‘Taptic’ feedback because they are distinctly different by design I’m sure.
I first realized it when getting notifications of max augment and max zoom out in mobile safari. Like most Apple philosophy in interface, it is subtle. Where less or perhaps, purposefully rare is more impactful than douching the UX with vibration and blur.
Like light saber duels. They are always great to watch and experience the heightened light effects, louder sound effects and fight music.
But if the whole movie was a light saber duel….then none of it would be special.
