Do the 2015 US FCC net neutrality rules require ISPs to provide DNS in some agnostic way?

 

Wow.

I’m not sure how much more silly this is going to sound so I’ll just say it….


 

Just like you can choose a different ISP  if you don’t like them…. you can choose to use which ever DNS service you want to.

The most effort you will exert would be depressing 16 buttons…that’s at the high end….and 3 of them will be dots.

 

You don’t need the government to choose what server changes numbers to letters….do you?

 

If you are running into un-resolved search landing pages from your ISP, just please…for Gods sake….before you petition the government to take control of more of your life  (and mine) try:

8.8.8.8 or 4.4.4.4

in your DNS Settings.

Please?
