The video below demonstrates an HTC mobile Phone using SMS messages to remotely attack a vehicle through the ODB-II port with a telematics control module installed.

ODB2 is a standard I/O port for on-board diagnostics normally used by a vehicle technician to read codes produced by the vehicles computer. With a telematics control module (the kind used to monitor kids driving habits or sometimes required by insurance companies to be installed for lower premiums) are discoverable using an interrogation method developed by Ian Foster and Andrew Prudhomme from UCSD.
